  15. "She Still Calls Me Daddy"

  17. <p>    Before the nine-year-old daughter of Ernest and Regina
  18. Twigg of Sebring, Fla., died last year, following surgery for
  19. a heart defect, doctors made an unsettling discovery: Arlena
  20. Twigg was not their biological child. Last week genetic tests
  21. established that the Twiggs' real daughter is Kimberly Mays, who
  22. was born at Hardee Memorial hospital in Wauchula, Fla., at about
  23. the same time as Arlena.
  24. </p>
  25. <p>    Robert Mays of Sarasota, Fla., who reared Kimberly
  26. believing she was his daughter, had the painful task of telling
  27. her the truth. "She still calls me Daddy," says Mays.
